| New types of technical systems only gain acceptance if the human factor is sufficiently taken into consideration during the system conception. The project group “Human-Machine-Interaction” analyses electronic and light technical systems in empirical studies regarding acceptance, safety and comfort. The parameters variable during the system conception are optimised. |  |

| The studies take place in experimental vehicles and in a driving simulator. The development of methods in order to measure for example road safety and the adaptation of user behaviour is an essential task of the project group. Eye tracking procedures and tracking of bio-signals play a central role. | ||
