Sören Schäfer:

Sören Schäfer studied media technology at the Technical University of Ilmenau. There, he worked as research assistant at the department of mechanical engineering, division of ergonomics. Dipl. -Ing. Schäfer concerned oneself with topics like ergonomics, usability engineering and human-machine-interfaces and interaction. At present he receiving his doctor's degree with a Dr. Arnold Hueck studentship. Mr. Schäfer is working in the L-LAB project group „Mesopic Vision“. His dissertation include physio-psychological questions concerning the measurability of the SPD of different light sources under the aspect of detection and discrimination of objects – specifically in low light (mesopic) levels and with automotive background.
